QUALITY MATERIALS: Made from commercial-grade, high-density laminated particleboard. Matte silver finish metal legs. The desk surface is 1.5" (3.8 cm) thick with a melamine finish and an impact-resistant PVC edge. The top of the credenza is 1" (2.5 cm) thick. 

HIGHLY FUNCTIONAL: The desk offers a large work surface that keeps everything within reach thanks to its shape. The credenza shelves can support up to 25 lbs (11.3 kg), the drawers can support up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg) and the credenza top can support up to 50 lbs (22.6 kg).
