Marion
Hébert
Recognized for her soft, playful, and clean works, Marion Hébert has a bachelor's degree in graphic design.
Influenced and encouraged to harness her talent, her journey began naturally in the fall of 2017, sharing her playful, uncluttered works daily on social media. From the outset, a felt enthusiasm for her work led her to create printed, numbered versions of her most sought-after creations. She creates each of her illustrations freehand, and once digitized, brings them to life by adding her distinctive color palettes.
How would you define your style?
My works are devoid of texture, created using solid colours, and are influenced by my preference for the screen-printing medium. Colour and shape are at the heart of my compositions, with an eye to space and balance.
What inspires you at the moment?
Travel has always been an inexhaustible source of inspiration for me. More recently, I'm also drawing inspiration from everyday scenes to freeze time through illustration.
What do you hope to convey through your art?
I hope to offer a little lightness through my art. I like to believe that there's a little “je ne sais quoi” in each of my creations that manages to convey a sense of well-being and embellish lives.

How would you define your style?
My paintings combine figurative elements inspired by animals, nature, and travel. All in an atmosphere that's more abstract.
What are your current inspirations?
I like to draw inspiration from my surroundings, my memories, and animals. Each painting has its own story and its own universe.
What do you wish to convey through your art?
The pleasure of escaping! In today's fast-paced society, I want my art to offer a moment's pause and do some good.
Are there any issues you feel strongly about? Why are they important to you?
Accessibility to art and education, and preservation of the environment. In my opinion, art and education go hand in hand. You don't have to be an artist to put your creativity to good use. I also try to use reusable materials as much as possible and give materials a second life.
