As part of the "All to Gain and Nothing to Lose" promotion, if you have not used the protection within 5 years, a purchase credit equivalent to 50% of the price paid will be granted. Credit applicable on a minimum purchase of $1000 in the furniture, mattress and decoration departments. This credit must be used within 6 months of being issued. To claim your credit, write to us at rienaperdre@tanguay.ca when your protection plan expires.

Spotting

For the first 5 years, we will send a technician to clean the stain. If the stain persists, we will repair the furniture. If the repair is impossible, we will replace it!

After 5 years, we will send a technician to do a stain removal only, for another 5 years.

Service experience ALL TASKS

  • The service experience starts from the date of delivery of your new furniture to your home against ALL STAINS, including applicable premium coverages.
  • In order to benefit from the service, complaints must be reported within 14 days of the incident causing the stain.
  • Stains caused by misuse of abuse or of an intentional nature are excluded and are not eligible for service.
  • The maximum liability of the service plan is the original purchase price, less applicable taxes, for the stained or defective item only, as shown on the invoice.
  • The service is provided for the stained item only and does not cover the cleaning, repair or replacement of "pairs" or "sets" of furniture purchased at the same time as the stained item.
  • Stains caused by corrosives or general soiling are not eligible for service.
  • The ALL SPOTS SERVICE experience does not cover damage, odour, defects or inherent characteristics of any kind; other than those listed above. Damage (other than stains) caused by animals, particularly to leather/leatherette coverings, is excluded and is not eligible for service.
  • For motor component coverage, we offer our customers a full parts and labour service for a total of 5 years (including the manufacturer's warranty period), in addition to the legal warranty. The legal warranty applies to Quebec residents.
  • Repairs or replacements due to (a) defective metal chassis components for moveable furniture or (b) due to misuse, mishandling or abuse of any kind are excluded and are not eligible for service.
  • Furniture with or without motorised components used for non-residential purposes is not eligible for service.
  • Service is not provided for loss or damage resulting from failure to perform the manufacturer's recommended maintenance and loss or damage resulting from external causes such as, but not limited to, battery packs, faulty wiring, power failure, fire, flood, windstorm, hail, lightning, earthquake, theft, misuse or abuse and connection to other products.
  • Repair, replacement or cleaning of batteries, bulbs, fuses, filters, shelves, drawers, cables or any added devices or peripherals are not eligible or included in this service experience.
  • Not all software and data recovery is covered by this service experience.
  • The total combined period of the service experience and the original manufacturer's warranty will not exceed five (5) years, excluding stains.
  • The duration of the service plan on all applicable remotes is limited to 1 (one) year after operational failure due to defective materials or workmanship and does not cover misuse, batteries or preventable damage.
  • If the owner of the service experience requires a home service and the plan holder fails to keep the home service appointment, the plan holder will be responsible for payment of the service call, based on the industry rates in effect at the time of the service call.
